There are many employment challenges experienced by migrant and former refugee communities, that impact beyond employment and beyond individuals. Join us as we invite speakers from community, business, and government as they share trends and challenges in employment they’re seeing. Together then participate in exploring collectively potential solutions that can address these challenges.

I'm a globally-minded career coach with a foundation in the arts and international relations. My passion lies in helping individuals unleash their unique potential through coaching. I have built my career working in London, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, and Auckland, I bring a unique perspective to my coaching practice.

One integral part of my mission is to support Chinese and other minority artists in New Zealand to succeed and thrive. Additionally, I am deeply committed to aiding migrants in their career development as they navigate the challenges of settling in a new country. My journey from a small town in China to London and then to Auckland reflects my unwavering self-determination, while my dedication to helping others forge their paths in life stems from my own experiences.

Connected is a website and a referral service. Its purpose is to make it easier for all New Zealanders to find support and services to get into employment, education and training.

About me: I have been in my current role for 2.5 years and prior to this, I worked as a Recruitment Consultant and as an HR Advisor. As an ELA, my job is to help people navigate employment, education and training.
