KAHIKA: Employment Readiness Programme

Looking for some support around how to reshape your CV for NZ context? Finding the interview process different to what you’re use to? Then this programme might help provide some handy tips and networks to support your employment goals.

Register your interest to join our 8-week programme followed by mentoring available, to help support you in your employment journey.

Over the 8-week programme, topics covered include:

• Networking/Social Media

• Goal setting

• The Treaty Workshop

• Creating CVs/Preparing for Interviews

• NZ Employment and Culture

• Practical Interview Skills

All to help prepare you for the next steps. There are limited spaces available, with the criteria being:

• From a migrant or refugee background

• Has a current visa that allows you to work in NZ legally

• Has existing tertiary qualifications - in NZ and/or overseas

• Has existing professional work experience - in NZ and/or overseas

• Looking for employment / to re-establish career in NZ

• Has an existing CV

• Is Auckland based

• Self-Transport

• Can commit to the programme

• Dates: Every Monday, starting Monday 28 April - Monday 16 June

• Time: 10am - 4:00pm
