INZ 'Engagement in your community session'

  • Te Wānanga o Aotearoa 15 Canning Crescent Auckland, Auckland, 2022 New Zealand (map)

Due to the synergies with the 'Shaping our Futures Together Hui on 6 Sept, we’re inviting you to an afternoon session, ‘Engagement in your community’, led by Immigration New Zealand.

Immigration New Zealand, as a part of the Refugee Quota Increase Programme, is developing a community engagement framework to support former refugee and wider communities to engage more effectively. The framework seeks to identify and develop strategies, tools and resources to build community cohesion and foster a sense of belonging – and they want to talk to you and your networks!

As a part of Immigration New Zealand’s discovery process and to capture your ideas and perspectives for inclusion in the framework, Auckland Council and Belong Aotearoa would like to invite you to an ‘Engagement in your community’ session.

The sessions will be facilitated by Supriya Rathod, Senior Business Advisor, Community Engagement, Immigration New Zealand. At this session, Immigration New Zealand would like to find out what you already do, and what you would like to do in your community to support greater, ongoing engagement.
