To help build the capacity of our ethnic communities, join our free Governance and Leadership Training Sessions for people and organisations who hold governance and leadership roles in and for the ethnic community. The training is offered in 2 hour sessions with limited spaces available*

The training session will be delivered by Carol Scholes from Threshold Management and Coaching - specialists in supporting boards and leaders of organisations.

Session 2: Monday 16th Nov 2020, 10am - 12pm (Senior Citizens Room)

Leadership Skills: Building Relationships

  • How to build strong interpersonal relationships, listening skills, empathy in leadership roles


Session 3: Friday 20th Nov 2020, 10am - 12pm (Lynfield Room)

Leadership Skills: Adaptive Leadership

  • A key skill of leaders and directors is the ability to adapt their style, decision-making and leadership to the changing situations.

  • Learn how to identify your dominant style, when to use it and when to do something different.

  • Working with uncertainty and ambiguity; decision skills
