The Belonging Through Employment Internship Programme matches the unique skills, talents and experiences of partners of skilled migrants (who are residents) to businesses through an up to three-month paid internship.
The programme offers secondary applicants (partners of skilled migrants) with local work experience, references & professional networks, plus greater understanding of NZ workplace values and expectations, to help them re-establish their careers in Aoteaora New Zealand.
Candidates that are successfully matched to an employer are paid a Living Wage while undertaking their internship (either full-time of part-time for up to three-months).
We’re looking for intern candidates that meet the following criteria:
Secondary applicant (partner of a skilled migrant) who is a resident or permanent resident.
Has been in Aotearoa New Zealand less than five years.
Has completed tertiary qualifications here or overseas.
Has professional work experience from here or overseas.
Is looking to re-establish their career in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Lives in Auckland, NZ.
Is able to commit to an up to three-month paid internship based in Auckland.
